Searching for the Truth

It’s confusing isn’t it? Anyone who has been traveling the road toward their own personal self improvement or spiritual enlightenment can quickly attest to the fact that it’s not a particularly easy journey. We quickly find that our projected well-defined path is suddenly obscured by the glare of thousands of spotlights – all sweeping our pitiful little road and beckoning to us. “This way!” “Follow me!” “I am the true way!” “Yo Butt-Head, over here!”

We read the articles and books, listen to the tapes and CD’s, take the courses, watch some videos and maybe even go to a seminar or two. We can frequently spot some similarities in the foundation concepts we’re presented – and sometimes we can’t. There are times when the differences in approaches to self improvement and spiritual enlightenment are glaringly obvious – even to the point of offering conflicting or opposing theories.

So where’s the truth? Which path is reality and which is fantasy? Are these people lying about this stuff – or are they just screwed up? How can there be so many different “correct” ways to transition to a better life? SIEMENS VSX 12000 Spiritually speaking, how can the reports and guidance presumably offered by one or more channeled guides or spirits differ so greatly Motorola W396 from the reports and guidance

There are thousands and thousands of predatory adults lurking

Freedom for All; Is it Possible?

Freedom for all species and people, and freedom of stress; is it possible? Could the Internet be a tool to getting there?

Freedom, what is it? I am an Internet writer whose job is to write about the Internet. Does that mean I am locked into this one area? Am I allowed to write about other things? Well today I am going to test out my supposed freedom, by writing about freedom. Some people say freedom is a state of mind, but I don’t know. What if you are a refugee locked away in a mandatory detention center waiting years for governments to process bureaucratic rigmarole? What if you live in a democratic society where you have to sign and have documents for everything from dog licenses to foreign visas? Are we really free, and if we are, how free are we?

Life on Earth for the privileged nations has become quite a comfortable existence. Or has it? Materially we have more than we could have ever imagined, but spiritually, how are we doing? If we are honest, each one of us has to live with the knowledge that for every creature comfort we have, someone in the world is having a little bit less; and then

A Fact in Book-Reading

Book-reading, I dare to say, is the second most efficient way to better our lives, after “thinking”. However, we have seen too few people who are able to concentrate on reading book for long hours.
