Advance Cash Loan - For Emergencies Only

For anyone who has to survive on a pay check, the money always runs out much faster than it comes in. For a long time, I thought I was the only one who didn’t know how to manage my money. I was always short Samsung SGH-D780 Duos Olympic of cash. And so, I borrowed from friends, family and even the ROWENTA RO-452321 good old credit card Магистраль whenever I needed what I felt at the time was “urgent” cash. Believe me, it might have temporarily improved the quality of my life, but it sure put me under a whole lot of debt!

I was discussing this with a co-worker the other day when he told me about something that changed my life. He told me that it was just for situations like this that advance cash loans were offered by HTC TyTN II P4550 the company we worked for. I knew that I should have looked at the employee manual with greater care. If I had, I would have found the advance cash loan section tucked away in the employee benefits. But now that I knew about it, I sure wasn’t going to waste any time. So

Slow Down and Enjoy Life!

Slow Down and Enjoy Life!

No one will disagree that modern life can get insanely busy – if we let it. Are we too busy though? How comfortable are we when we don’t have anything to distract us? Are we content when we’re not accomplishing something, moving ahead in our goals or helping others? Is our sense of worth tied to our busyness? Are we a slave to recognition? Are we lonely when we’re by ourselves? It is important not only to reflect upon such questions but to decide to behave differently.

Perhaps we could set aside five minutes of ‘thinking time’ a day. Some people might just ‘be’ while others may choose to meditate or pray. We might also do well to engage in a solitary activity from time to time or even develop a hobby that we quietly enjoy ourselves. Instead BOSCH BSG 62023 of only reading work-related Panasonic MC-CG 463 KR79 journals, we should read

The Advice Process Starts With a Question

Obviously, the advice process starts with a question? But who will pose the question. Is it the advisor or the one, let’s say the manager, who is asking for an advice?

First the advisor. This can be nearly anyone; from the official advisor or management consultant to someone in the office, a colleague … But to trigger the LG V-C3E55 SD advice process and to open the road to a satisfied advice, Государство the advisor doesn’t necessary have to ask the first question. Of course, the professional advisor would always want to pose questions. This is part of his job. “Which marketing campaign made the sales volume increase most?” Or, “Do

Conversations in Management: Horatio Alger - ‘Ragged Rick’

“You must drop that name, ‘Ragged Dick’, and think of yourself now as “Richard Hunter, Esq.”

“A young gentleman on his way to fame and fortune,” added Fosdick.

-From Ragged Dick, by Horatio Alger

These are the closing lines from Ragged Dick, Horatio Alger’s first rags-to-riches story. Its publication in 1867 would be followed by 133 similar books written over a thirty-three year span. The stories were meant to be inspirational and to offer not only hope, but a blueprint for success to thousands of impoverished American and immigrant boys. In that regard they succeeded admirably and ended up stamping self-reliance indelibly on the American psyche.

Alger was an unlikely teller of such tales. New England bred, Harvard educated and well traveled through Europe, he was unprepared for the squalor he found in New York City. He had moved there in 1866 to restart a writing career that, to this point, had lacked both focus and success. Upon arriving, he was immediately drawn to the plight of the over 60,000 orphaned and abandoned children fending for themselves on the city streets. They earned small amounts of money by shining shoes,

Searching for the Truth

Searching for the Truth

It’s confusing isn’t it? Anyone who has been traveling the road toward their own personal self improvement or spiritual enlightenment can quickly attest to the fact that it’s not a particularly easy journey. We quickly find that our projected well-defined path is suddenly obscured by the glare of thousands of spotlights – all sweeping our pitiful little road and beckoning to us. “This way!” “Follow me!” “I am the true way!” “Yo Butt-Head, over here!”

We read the articles and books, listen to the tapes and CD’s, take the courses, watch some videos and maybe even go to a seminar or two. We can frequently spot some similarities in the foundation concepts we’re presented – and sometimes we can’t. There are times when the differences in approaches to self improvement and spiritual enlightenment are glaringly obvious – even to the point of offering conflicting or opposing theories.

So where’s the truth? Which path is reality and which is fantasy? Are these people lying about this stuff – or are they just screwed up? How can there be so many different “correct” ways to transition to a better life? SIEMENS VSX 12000 Spiritually speaking, how can the reports and guidance presumably offered by one or more channeled guides or spirits differ so greatly Motorola W396 from the reports and guidance
